Archdiocesan Women's Conference Update

2023 Holy Infant Women's Guild Scholarship Application

Below are the pictures from this year’s Women’s Guild outdoor rosary held May 13th on Holy Infant Church’s front lawn in remembrance of the 106th anniversary of the first apparition of Mary to the children at Fatima! We prayed for the same intentions the Blessed Virgin Mary asked the 3 children to share and to pray for to help stop the spread of evil in the world.
Many thanks to the wonderful people who joined us in this endeavor!

Winners of the Annual Women’s Guild Scholarship are Annie Driscoll on the Left and Kiera Bova on the right. Congratulations to both and good luck with your college studies. Women’s Guild members pictured from left to right are; Joyce Mauro, Lucille Camera, Fran Leary and Linda D’Andrea.

Holy Infant Women’s Guild collected new and gently used pocketbooks to fill with gloves, hats, socks, or scarfs, women’s personal hygiene items and a small piece of jewelry. We also made up surprise boxes for 20 children. in November, about 25 guild members gathered to stuff the purses and add a lovely hand written Christmas card and a festive bow to each pocketbook. Joyce Mauro, Fran Leary, Janice Sterczala and Linda D’Andrea presented these items to women in need on Thursday, 12/19/19 at the Sunrise Cafe Christmas Party (located in the lower level of St Paul's church in New Haven) held from 7am to 9:30am. The ladies were thrilled to have a "new" purse and were doubly excited to find out that each bag was filled with surprises! The men in attendance received gifts from the cafe management. Holy Infant Womens Guild was honored to be a small part of this beautiful corporal work of mercy (feed the Hungary) that happens every weekday at Sunrise Cafe.
