Holy Infant Women’s Guild
Dear past attendee
of the Archdiocesan Women's Conference,
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the
Archdiocesan Women's Conference, scheduled for November 7, 2020,
has been postponed in-person (save the date for
November 6, 2021!).
However, the experience of the Women's Conference will take
place in an extended virtual format, from this fall to next
spring. These virtual events will take place on the
first Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. The
evening will be a little taste of the Women's Conference
experience: a workshop followed by a unique prayer experience.
We invite you to register in advance
for the virtual event and come as you are - yoga pants or
sweatshirt or stilettos, glass of wine or cup of tea - to
partake in spiritual nourishment and time in community as a
taste of the experience of the Women's Conference in this
socially distant time.... and of course, you can save your
registration fee for the next in-person conference in 2021,
because this year will be free of charge!
Please join us on November
4, 2020, when we will kick off the 2020 virtual
conference experience with the following:
Workshop: Love,
(Hope, Joy, and Mercy) in the Time of Sorrow
(presented by Kerry A. Robinson)
We are living through an epoch of great sorrow, deprivation,
uncertainty, loss and division. Deep in the Catholic imagination
is an understanding of the Paschal Mystery, that out of
suffering and death comes new life. Join us for a hope-filled
conversation on the role that women of all ages and backgrounds
are playing in bringing mercy, compassion, innovation, courage,
and leadership to light the path forward for all of us.
Prayer Experience: Using
Technology in Your Prayer Life During Social Distancing
As women of faith, we know how essential it is that we
nurture our connection with God through a deliberate and
intentional prayer life. With the busyness of daily life and the
distractions that surround us, this can be a challenging task.
We live in a world full of new and exciting technology, which
has become all the more necessary in a time of social distance
and quarantine. Can the digital world help enhance our prayer
lives and allow us to grow closer to God? Come and learn ways to
experience your relationship with God in new ways as we explore
how technology can revitalize our prayer lives, even in a time
of digital overload.
Registration is simple and free of charge - simply click
here to register! (If you need assistance, simply
email OEEC@aohct.org for
tech support or call 860.242.5573 and leave a message at the
OEEC.)
Please feel free to share this event with anyone who would
benefit from participating. All women of faith, of every age and
stage, are welcome! More information about the virtual
conference and the schedule of speakers is available on the
Women's Conference webpage.
Thank you for your
past presence at and continued support of the Conference!
